Známe osobnosti zo sveta DJ-ingu
- Tiësto, vlastným menom Tijs Verwest (* 17. január 1969, Breda, Holandsko) je jedným zo svetovo najznámejších DJov a producentov elektronickej tanečnej hudby. Prispel k rozvoju DJskej kultúry a ku akceptácii DJstva ako umelecky hodnotného a súčasne populárneho spôsobu tlmočenia hudobno-ideového obsahu. Hoci v minulosti používal mnoho aliasov, najviac je známy pod menom DJ Tiësto. Avšak, jeho posledné výtvory oddeľujú označenie „DJ“. Angažuje sa v súčasnosti do komerčného štýlu pop a elektro/trance, čo spôsobilo veľký úpadok v oblasti DJingu. Teraz je známy aj ako Tiësto. V Európe, sa Tiësto preslávil svojim mixom Delerium single Silence (v spolupráci so Sarah McLachlan) a pre jeho interpretáciu skladby Samuela Barbera„Adagio for Strings“. Tijs bude vždy oddaný jeho prezývke Tiësto, (prešmyčka jeho detskej prezývky) a tento ho dostalo medzi svetoznámych DJov.
- Armin van Buuren začínal ako DJ v klube Nexus doma v Leidene. Už ako 19-ročný sa dostal do povedomia zásluhou skladby Blue Fear. Jeho ďalším úspešným singlom bol Communication z roku 1999, ktorý s obľubou hrávali na Ibize. V novembri 2001 van Buurena zaradili na 27. priečku v rebríčku najlepších dídžejov sveta podľa DJ Magazine, čo mu prinieslo ďalšie možnosti. V roku 2003 uviedol na trh svoj debutový album 76, po ktorom o dva roky neskôr nasledovala nahrávka Shivers (2005). V tom čase začal vydávať kompiláciu A State of Trance (ASOT), ktorú každoročne vydáva doteraz. Po prvý raz sa na čelo rebríčka najlepších dídžejov sveta podľa DJ Magazine dostal v roku 2007. Prvenstvo obhájil aj v rokoch 2008, 2009 a 2010. Celkovo má tak na konte už štyri triumfy, čo sa nikdy v histórii žiadnemu inému dídžejovi nepodarilo. V najnovšom vydaní rebríčka mu patrí druhá priečka. Napriek týmto oceneniam uviedol, že život pre neho nie je o oceneniach. Talentovaný Holanďan má okrem spomenutých dvoch štúdioviek na konte aj albumy Imagine(2008) a Mirage (2010), remixové albumy Imagine: The Remixes (2009) a Mirage: The Remixes (2011) a okrem A State of Trance každoročne vydáva aj kompilácie A State of Trance Year Mix, A State Of Trance Classics a Universal Religion. Armin van Buuren pritom stále moderuje program A State of Trance, ktorý má za sebou už 600 epizód.
- David Guetta (* 7. november 1967, Paríž, Francúzsko) je francúzsky house DJ.V 13 rokoch začal mixovať svoje prvé platne. Ako 17-ročný sa stal DJom parížskeho klubu Broad, čo odštartovalo jeho kariéru. Počas rokov 1988 - 1990 mixoval househudbu na rádiu Nova. V roku 2005 sa jeho singel „The World Is Mine“ vyšplhal na vrcholy európskych hitparád. Objavil sa tiež ako tvár v reklamnej kampani kozmetickejfirmy L'Oréal.V roku 2005 vystupoval na Španielskom open-air festivale Creamfields po boku takých hudobných hviezd ako The Chemical Brothers alebo Carl Cox. Zahral si tiež naCreamfields v Anglicku. David Guetta taktiež vystupuje posledné 2 roky na Sensation White. Zahral i 2. júna 2007 v pražskej Sazka aréne.14. júla 2007 sa stal prvým DJom, ktorý si zahral živý set na palube lietadla na linke z Paríža na Ibizu. Je ženatý s Cathy Guetta (Cathrine Lobe), majú spolu dve deti- Tim Elvis Eric Guetta a Angie
- Antoine Konrad (* 23. júna 1975 , Švajčiarsko ), viac známy ako DJ Antoine, je švajčiarsky hudobný DJ House a hudobný producent.Má na konte mnoho úspešných singlov a albumov publikovaných v západnej Európe, respektíve vo Švajčiarsku. Jeho prvý tvorbou bolo roku 2000 album Houseworks 01, a od tohto roku publikoval mnoho dosiek. Jedna z jeho najpopulárnejších, Jealousy(publikované roku 2007) je jeho najpredávanejším albumom. Predal cez 1,000,000 CD a založil svoju vlastnú nahrávaciu spoločnosť, Houseworks a Egoiste. Veľmi populárna je tiež v Kanade a Spojených štátoch .
